Junior XML Specialist

5 000 - 7 000 PLN gross

As a Junior XML Specialist, you will work together with a small team of highly skilled individuals forming the Technical Reporting Standards Practice responsible for delivery of projects implementing XML-derived formats like XBRL, SDMX or ISO 20022 to facilitate data exchange. You will be tasked with reflecting certain business information requirements in form of electronic dictionaries/schemas and ensuring their high quality. You will provide guided support and expertise to our international clients, including public institutions and regulatory authorities, operating mainly in the financial markets domain.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of input/base materials and other business-oriented documentation
  • Preparation of project documentation in form of specification of requirements (business, functional and non-functional)
  • Preparation of business processes maps following the BPMN notation
  • Development of electronic data dictionaries/taxonomies/XML schemas and data models
  • Preparation of sample electronic reports based on the underlying taxonomies/data dictionaries/schemas
  • Development of test specifications including testing scenarios and unit tests
  • Preparation of supportive materials and presentation slides
  • Providing assistance in conducting workshops, webinars, and trainings internally and for external clients
  • Providing support to the IT department and external clients

Requirements

  • Master degree in the area of Finance, Economics, Accounting or Banking with IT flavour
  • At least 1 year of professional experience on similar position
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Very good interpersonal and team-working skills
  • Very good command of English (min. C1)
  • Basic knowledge of XML (and related mechanisms e.g. Namespaces, XPointer, XLink, XPath, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of XBRL, ISO20022, SDMX or other XML-derived standards
