Within BR-AG, Mateusz leads the Insurance Business Practice team. In this capacity, he and his team define a multitude of business-driven, technology-enabled offerings for insurers to remain compliant in the ever-changing regulatory landscape.
He is also focused on large-scale insurance technology transformations and InsurTech.
Mateusz has worked alongside international law firms, insurance companies and regulatory authorities, such as the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) on a range of projects related to digitising regulatory reporting in the EU.
Supporting EU regulators, his particular focus lies in Solvency II compliance matters. Skilled in training key users in EIOPA and NCAs (National Competent Authorities) and participating in workshops and seminars to ensure harmonization among European and International Supervisory Authorities, Mateusz is also deeply investigating the implications of Solvency II UK Reforms supporting the international competitive insurance sector as well.
His technical expertise includes Data Modelling Development Support, including the creation, maintenance, and customization of data models to meet regulatory and reporting requirements. He is also experienced in support of open data standards deployment such as XBRL, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
