Since 2005, BR-AG has been participating in the annual Eurofiling Workshops as an exhibitor and panelist. The Eurofiling Foundation offers the opportunity to engage in discussions with peers, Regulators, Supervisors and Regulated Entities from both the public and private financial sectors.

This year the event was kindly hosted by the Central Bank of Ireland, and BR-AG experts engaged in discussions aimed at empowering Financial, Sustainability & Regulatory Reporting with Human and Artificial Intelligence. With in-depth industry knowledge, creativity, and agility, we support our clients, both Regulators and the Regulated, in implementing RegTech & SupTech innovations.

In 2024, our very own Michał Piechocki, who has served as Chair and CEO of BR-AG since 2007, joined the lineup of speakers at the RegTech Africa Conference in Lagos to share practical insights into data governance, regulatory compliance and technological innovation. The Conference plays role of the premier forum on regulatory services innovation and excellence with a focus on Africa.
During the roundtable on ‘Bridging the Data Trust gap: For SupTech in the Era of Digital Financial Services’, he talked about practical strategies and supervisory technologies to navigate the complexities of the digital age while fostering trust, transparency, and accountability across supervised sectors.
Over the past 25 years, the Banking Tech Awards has served as a platform to honor trailblazing companies, visionary leaders, and transformative technologies that have reshaped the landscape of banking and finance.

BR-AG is a strategic partner for business registries building innovative, trusted, and resilient digital, business ecosystems. We join the Corporate Registers Forum (CRF), an association of international corporate registries, at their annual conferences to promote the latest data and technological innovations for better use of data assets – from company basic data, financial statements to ESG data.
In 2022, BR-AG joined the CRF conference which was held in the Republic of Maldives and brought together over 100 professionals from 35 countries representing 27 jurisdictions comprising justices, ministers, registrars and industry experts.
BR-AG’s CEO Michal Piechocki attended as a panelist on the conference session, sharing his insight on the topic “ESAP and transformation of corporate data access in the EU for the post pandemic world”. Marta Kuczynska, Head of Business Development, and Michal Zubrycki, Data Standardisation Expert, also talked about importance of open data standards adoption and revealed Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) in South Africa leverage their full potential.
By putting it into action, the Regulator allows greater transparency in corporate conduct by providing investors with essential business and financial information and reducing the administrative costs for reporting businesses. Read the full story here.
In 2023, Michal Piechocki talked about “More than a search engine: Corporate Register as a Trusted Data Hub”. Upskilling business registries’ teams and equipping them with adequate technology, we help to automate the data management and innovate the data use and digital data services for the public good and growth of the business. In this way, we boost their journey towards becoming Trusted Data Hubs, building global transparency and standardization.
EBRA is an association of Business Registry professionals that provides insight into Business Registry policy, operations and technology initiatives. The European Business Registry Association is working to establish an international community of business registries that collaborate on joint initiatives, develop and share knowledge, and collectively progress the business registry domain.
Innovation, Transparency, and Sustainability – the key challenges defined by EBRA community as the ones that transform business registries world, and, at BR-AG, we continue to help registries meet them head-on with a digital-driven approach.
Joining EBRA Annual Conferences we meet with registry professionals, learning from one another and helping them to leverage technology innovations for effective data collection, management and reporting practices. In 2023, Michal Piechocki, CEO of BR-AG, joined EBRA Conference to speak about the impact of Europe’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) on sustainability reporting and how it affects business registries and company data transparency ecosystems.
We help them to understand how it will look like, what are the benefits of company sustainability data to tap, and how to establish robust practices and systems for its efficient collection and analytics.
The 27th Eurofiling Workshop was held on December 12-14 in Madrid. During the workshop, attendees could learn about Data Point Model methodology and the ongoing DPM Refit, as well as ESEF policy changes and reporting, ESG reporting and XBRL implementation.

The 23rd annual Banking Tech Awards ceremony took place on 1 December 2022 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. Over 500 guests attended the event, and we are proud to say that we also took part in that fabulous ceremony together with senior professionals from banks, financial institutions and software and service providers.
The 11th Experts Meeting on Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) took place on November 28 – December 1, 2022. Experts from national statistical offices, central banks, international agencies, and the private sector from around the world gathered to promote good practices and advance the standard to adapt to modern technologies and evolving requirements.
During the event Łukasz Wojciechowski, BR-AG Senior Technical Standard Analyst and Daniel Suranyi, European Central Bank Lead Data Architect, together elaborated on the integration of SDMX with DPM/XBRL, focusing on extending SDMX with rendering information package.
The Corporate Registers Forum is an association of international corporate registries. On September 21-24, 2022 the top-notch registry professionals from all over the globe met in the Maldives to discuss: “Transforming business registries for the post pandemic era.”

The European Business Registry Association (EBRA) held a conference in Madrid, on June 14-16, 2022. This was the first time in three years that this conference was held in person, not as an online event. The agenda for the 2022 edition was “Building the Future: Innovation and Business Registries – The role of business registries in global challenges”.
Webinar on potential of technology in remittance system-generated data. Central banks and technology providers shared their experiences in technology use as well as in developing tools and systems to improve the collection of remittance flow data.
The joint transformation programme conducted by the Bank of England together with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is a collaborative effort to set vision and approach to delivering improvements in data collection over the next decade.
As a part of the tech and data professional community, BR-AG is closely monitoring this initiative. This endeavor will ultimately help in defining and adopting common data standards, modernizing reporting instructions and integrating reporting to establish efficient ways of data collection.
The Global Financial Innovation Network (GFIN) is an organisation bought to life by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), bringing together regulators from different jurisdictions and companies looking to test innovative concepts to foster the development of Regtech and SupTech solutions. With the network constantly growing, members of GFIN include over 50 regulators from all over the world, developing initatives such as the GFIN Cross-Border Testing.
BR-AG was one of two companies selected to participate in this year’s 2021 Global Financial Innovation Network’s (GFIN) cross-border testing stream, where GFIN recieved applications from 38 firms spread over five continents, choosing two companies to proceed into the development and testing phase. With our custom-designed ATOME Matter platform for data modelling, BR-AG set out to develop a sustainability reporting template that can act as a “greenprint” for the Central Bank of Bahrain, Astana Financial Services Authority, Bank of Lithuania, Bermuda Monetary Authority, Abu Dhabi Global Market and Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates to develop sustainability reporting requirements in their jurisdictions.
The UNEP FI initiative hosted this year’s round of regional roundtables on sustainable finance, bringing together over 3000+ UNEP FI members for discussion on sustainable finance developments across 5 continents. Our CEO, Michał Piechocki joined the discussion on “Addressing data needs, challenges and next steps – Perspectives from Europe”.
For the second consecutive year, we were shortlisted in the G20 TechSprint- this year, hosted by the Banca d’Italia. Organised by Banca d’Italia and the BIS Innovation Hub, this year’s green and sustainable finance theme was aligned with the priorities that the Bank of Italy has laid out for it’s G20 Presidency term: paving the way forward for sustainable finance. Adressing the problem statement of data collection, verification and sharing, we were one of the 7 shortlisted teams with our Project Sunrise, providing a technology link to collaboratively develop and manage sustainability data requirements and facilitate the design of risk analysis scenarios.
On October 21, over 5000 banking and finance executives gathered gathered to listen to the Amdeya Conference in Istanbul, Turkey. The topics ranged from compliance, digital banking and sustainability, to the areas of RegTech and Suptech as drivers of innovation for the financial sector, Cental Banks and policymakers.
